Steven Bernstein — Violin
Steve Bernstein joined the Greenwich Village Orchestra in 1998. He immediately recognized this
ensemble’s huge potential, and served on the GVO’s Board from 1999 to 2004. Steve is
proud to have been part of the process that selected Barbara Yahr as our Music Director.
He started playing violin at age 5, thanks to a generous aunt who enabled him to study at the
Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. By profession, Steve is an electrical engineer and computer guru. His
company, compuKarma, provides comprehensive
technology support to small and medium-sized businesses in the New York metropolitan area. Steve can
